The brand new True Trout is making it's debut here today at the Bass Jam. Available with three different tail configurations and four different sink rates it's actually more like a family of new swimbaits.
The three tails are designed to produce different action on the 7" soft bait. The dead stick flat tail floats for minimum water disturbance. The tri-tail (shown above) is designed for swimming on a slow retrieve - perfect for colder weather fishing in the next few months. The boot tail is designed for faster fishing, with a hard pumping action.
It will be available in four colors (shown in light rainbow trout).
It's not in stores yet - at least not until this show is over, but judging by the crowd at the table and the manhandling it received when I brought a photo sample back to the office, it's getting a lot of attention already.

This hard jointed 3-piece largemouth bait has been out for a few months now. It's a floating swimbait with incredibly lifelike design. Shown here in the dark bass color.
