Here's a link to a site that sells cull tags that use clamps rather than pins. I have been using them and not only do they not leave giant rips and tears in the mouths of the bass but I think the fish seem less stressed when using them.

Lake Shasta Low Water
- I visited Lake Shasta in Oct 2008 to check out the historic low waters, which were at 29% of full, or about 130 feet below normal. It was a great chance to get a fish-eye view of the lake bed.
