The triple trout tail is a good idea, i did that on one of the baits in the top photo.
and no you can never have to many punkers.

I removed the back hook and put a hitch-hiker on the hyper wire and put the tail from an 10 inch Triple Trout on there...it looks cool.

Lake Shasta Low Water

    I visited Lake Shasta in Oct 2008 to check out the historic low waters, which were at 29% of full, or about 130 feet below normal. It was a great chance to get a fish-eye view of the lake bed.
