Thursday Fishing Video: Big Jumpers Bass - Vintage IGFA Video

"In the world of fishing there are men who seek out the big jumpers as hunters seek out trophies in the animal kingdom..."

This video is from vintage IGFA footage. Not sure the year, but I'd guess from the theme music maybe the early 1960s. I was pleased to see them let the catch go at the end. If anyone knows more about this, please speak up in the comments.

Good fishing rod

Good video. I really liked that underwater fishing video, couldn't comment on that one though. I need to go fishing, I'm getting hungry now.. :)

Lake Shasta Low Water

    I visited Lake Shasta in Oct 2008 to check out the historic low waters, which were at 29% of full, or about 130 feet below normal. It was a great chance to get a fish-eye view of the lake bed.
